Undergraduate

Welcome Bruins! By now you probably have a pretty good idea of how financial aid works at UCLA, but there may be some areas that you still do not understand, or have not experienced in prior years. With that in mind, we want to remind you that our office is dedicated to assisting you in navigating your way through the financial aid process. This leaves you to focus on what’s most important: your education.

The navigation menu on the left will go into more detail about the financial aid process and some of the most frequently visited areas that are important to many of our students.

News and Announcements

  • In Recognition of Constitution Day take a moment to think about our nations founding document constitutioncenter.org/constitution-day
  • If you or your family has been financially impacted by Hurricane Harvey or Hurricane Irma, we encourage you to reach out to our office. If you did not initially apply for financial aid it is still not too late to do so if family financial circumstances have changed. You can complete your FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov and submit a late application appeal so we can consider your application on time. Additionally, Financial Aid and Scholarships can re-evaluate your financial aid package if you have experienced a financial hardship as a result of a natural disaster. Examples of things we can consider appeals for are lost earnings if your place of work is unable to conduct business, out of pocket costs to repair property damage and costs incurred for temporary accommodation. We realize that this experience may be challenging and traumatizing for our students impacted, so we also encourage you to utilize campus support services beyond our office in dealing with these events.
